Have you seen a loft house? Today’s featured house is a loft house. A loft house is the term used for a house with a lot of open space seen in high ceilings, exposed beams and pipes and cement floor. This house we are featuring is a good example of it. Check it out.
It maybe small and compact but it is well-designed with more space for ventilation and keeps the interior bright and breezy. The whole house is rectangular shaped, so in case you want to add more rooms, it’s easier and cost effective.
Its shed roof makes its appearance very modern and chic. Installing shed roofs or skillion is a lot easier and costs cheaper than other roof styles. This type of roof does not only give the whole house a modern look, it also prevents heat.
There are several glass windows surrounding the whole house. They maybe small but at least if they are kept open they will give enough brightness and ventilation to the house. Its frontage is finished with cladded posts and bricks on the front wall. The posts have grooves which also add appeal to the facade.
As you enter this single story home, the first area that you will see is the hallway, which can be used as a living or receiving area.
There are also three bedrooms across the hallway. These bedrooms may look simple, but they are spacious enough to fit a full size bed, a study area, and built in cabinets. This single story house also have two common bathrooms for the occupants to use.
So this is is estimated to cost around USD80,000-100,000 or 4-5 million Philippine pesos. But you know this is just a rough estimate. It can actually be reduced or increased depending on the materials, labor, and the kind of finishing that you want for your house.
