Today’s featured house is a compact bungalow with two bedrooms. The floor area is 10 x 6 meters or that is 60 square meters. This is not a big floor area so it is acceptable for it to be compact. Let’s take a look at the house design.
The facade is adorable with the three pillars with stone cladding. The elevation of four steps is a pretty elevation and can protect the house from flooding. However, for a more secure flood-prone house, the elevation must be at least 100-140 centimeters or that would be 6-7 steps higher than the ground.
Gray is a nice choice of color. It exudes serenity and it is soothing to the eyes. It gives off a calming and grounding effect as well. White and light gray were used as secondary colors that were painted on its architectural features, trimmings and window frames giving a perfect look to the exterior.
The pyramid hip roof style looks perfect. JTC writes that “a pyramid hip roof is identical to a simple hip roof, but the walls are square rather than rectangular, making the shape of the building’s roof slope come to a point in a pyramid shape at the top. This type of roof is extremely resistant to strong winds, so is ideal for high-wind or hurricane prone areas.”
